Commissions available in my store when I'm accepting orders --> The Darling Army Store

Yay! Another commission down! This pinafore was isnpired by Ciel Phantomhive from Black Butler =3 It's his infamous green suit. The commissioner came to me with an outfit and a budget and said "what can you do for this much?" And this is what came of it ^_^

While she's intending to wear it more as a costume and will accessorize it as so, I chose to photograph it a little more casually. I liked the less formal feel that is created when pairing it with a short sleeved blouse instead of a formal dress shirt. I dunno. I personally wear my pinafores more as dress accessories for everyday rather than costumes, so I naturally gravitate towards more casual accessories =)

Want to know when I'll be accepting pinafore orders again? Get updates on my Facebook! This is the best way to find out when I'll be taking orders, especially since my spots fillup the day I post them. --> The Darling Army Facebook

Haha. Just make sure you remember what you want since I won't be offering all of my designs outright when I open. A lot of things you'll have to ask for specifically ^_^

I know you were having issues with the shop and everything, but I was wondering on where and when we could order things again. And specifics of asking for things like this pinafore here... I kinda love it now. Just like I love all your pinafores, but I recently went on a Black Butler fandom obsession and my friend wants me in a green dress.

My new store should be open in May. I'm not 100% sure on a date yet, though. I update my Facebook with the info most often, so if you follow that, you'll know when I will be opening a couple days before and then the same day

I am not sure how to phrase this question, but here goes:
Once the new store is up, will we be able to order things previously seen, such as this Ciel pinafore, and future commissions?
Sorry if it doesn't make sense, but it's the question.

Yup. Sure can. That Ciel was actually a commission itself that I didn't offer in the store. But you're more than welcome to commission that same design =)

Thanks.
I really kinda want the Ciel one, because I am being dragged to prom, and my friend wants me to wear a green dress, but I wanted to embrace my inner Pinkie Pie. This is the best I'm coming up with for compromise.
It's technically formal when using the correct accessories.

Exactly. Put a corset underneath and add elbow-length gloves and woooooooo you have prom!

Don't know about a corset, but that's the plan. I might still find something fabulous at a store, but I'd prefer this.
Two more questions:
if/when I do order, can the skirt be longer(like, to the knees?)? And how much would it cost?
Wait, one more question, sorry,
Where on the shop would I order this specifically and tell the measurements, or should I message you on DeviantART?

That would depend on the amount of fabric needed. To even lengthen the skirt an inch it automatically doubles that fabric needed for the skirt.

As for your second question, when the store opens, you would message me through Etsy and we could discuss sizing and specifics. Etsy messenger is really reliable and ensures I won't lose the message as easily
