Who watches the Watchmen?

I do! I read it, too! Therefore, when a super hero party came up, I couldn't resist. This costume was thrown together on a tight time limit and a tight budget. $15 total and three hours (for the gloves and tights). I had mostly everything at home. The skirt took 30 minutes to make, but two hours for the paint to dry!

Sorry I didn't have a more "industrial" place to shoot (with my cell phone no less. lol). I live in the boonies!

This costume was inspired by the image displayed on Etsy here: [link]
I wish I was brave enough (and had enough time) to wear the body suit. =) This person really had a lovely concept.

I love love LOVE this outfit. :D I imagine that if Rorschach and Lady Gaga had a fasshionable child together it would be wearing this costume. I can't tell if the blots on your face are paint or what but they look AMAZING! Just the idea of it is pretty amazing and original! The only thing I can critique is that the jacket maybe should have had some purple accents such as on the buttons or sash but I realize this was made in a short time and on a low budget. The inkblot skirt looks perfect for being handmade and that hat is fabulous beyond words! The other thing that makes me so fond of this outfit is that all of the purple matches! I know from experience that when you put together a costume made from different individual elements, even being a shade or two off will ruin the whole appeal and look so I commend you on being able to match the purple of the gloves, tights, and hat so they look like they're all cut from the same cloth (unless they ARE all cut from the same cloth. If that's the case just forget my last statement xD). Well this comment is kind of long and jammbled up now so I'll simply add that I feel this costume is BRILLIANT and that again I LOVE it!

Hehehe. Thank you so much! I had originally wanted the coat to be brown, too, but I already owned the coat ^_^ As for the purple, that was just good luck. I matched the gloves to the purple fabric around the hat (which I had left over from my DBZ Femme Cell Costume) and the gloves to the tights. Otherwise, the paint was cream stage makeup =3 Thank you, again!

Wow, this costume is so cool! The sign adds a great touch to it all and the skirt is beautiful. The purple tights are great, too.
