Commissions available in my store when I'm accepting orders --> The Darling Army Store

Want to know when I'll be accepting pinafore orders again? Get updates on my Facebook! This is the best way to find out when I'll be taking orders (about once a week), especially since my spots fillup within a couple hours of posting them. --> The Darling Army Facebook

Everytime I accept a dress commission, I always regret it since I love a love/hate relationship with pattern-making and tailoring TT______TT I think I might stop making them until I can get proper training in pattern-making since I'm sure it should take a lot less than nine hours to make a custom dress from scratch >_<

Anywho, this was a custom, perfectly-tailores Fullmetal Alchemist dress based off of my apron design. The straps cross in the back and the dress is completed with a red invisible zipper. The skirt is trimmes with bias tape. The whole dress is fully lined with a soft black stretch fabric that is trimmed with lace to make a built in slip <3 The poor thing is a little wrinkled from being folded in a pile, but my camera died after I steamed out the wrinkles and then I packaged it up, so here it is in all of its wrinkled glory ^_^

Yikes! If it makes you feel better, I can't handsew at all due to a medical wrist thing. Just a machine for me =)

I totally want one of these? How much do you charge? This would be perfect for Halloween to go as a female Edward Elric!

I'm actually not accepting dress commissions right now. Maybe in a couple months? And the prices vary based on options, sizing, materials, etc. I do offer the same design in a half apron ($65) and a full pinafore ($85) =X

Okay very cool. I don't know what a pinafore is...but I love the design. It's adorable and you are very talented. :)

No problem! Most people don't know what pinafores are nowadays. They're dress accessories. You wear them over plain dresses to give them more character and femininity. Pretty much they are decorative aprons that wrap all the way around.

Oh okay! Now I understand. That's really cool. I wish I knew how to sew and design stuff. I was going to take sewing now that I'm in college but my major is too packed and that class is for people who already know how to sew.
