Can be purchased in my store when I'm accepting orders --> The Darling Army
I fibnally finished it! Eeeeeeeeeee! Due to a delay in vinyl shipment, I hit a point where I couldn't work on orders until I got the graphics in. That gave me time to do whatever I wanted....SO I FINALLY GOT TO MAKE MY OBI-WAN!
This is something I had been wanting to do and it was a new challenge with the bodice shape. It's actually still a kimino bodice with top stitching detail (doesn't show up in pictures TT_TT) that is overlayed with the brown panels. A nice change of pace from traditional pinafore bodices. As soon as I pulled it out of the sewing machine, I made the boyfriend come take pictures of me in it (my dressform doesn't have a head to display the hood.
This pinafore joins my Artoo Detoo, Vader, and Rebel Alliance pinafores in my Star Wars collection. Anywho, the panels are sewn into the mantle and hood to hold up the bodice. As mentioned, the bodice is four different lined panels that overlap. The waist features a brown ribbon detail that has been sewn directly onto the garment and continues for the whole way around. The above picture is displayed with both a bra and a flesh-colored tanktop since I couldn't decide which I liked more =3
